Ronalds Restored XR2i Turbo
Converting a XR2i into a RS Turbo has been done a few times now, but this one has been taken to another level.

Ronalds Story. I bought the car back in 1991 as an Radiant red XR2I I wanted a turbo but these were a bit more expensive so I decided to go for the XR2I. For 3 years I had a lot of fun with it visiting XR RS club meetings doing slaloms and sprints. After that It was sold and replaced for a Escort Ghia estate because we needed more space for the family . 4 years ago I was searching the internet and my attention was caught by a car that looked like my old XR2I I decided to go and have a look at it .It was my old XR2I with all the original paperwork and history so in a spur of insanity I bought the car to perhaps restore it in the near future. It stood idle for a year gathering dust and my father used it when he was in the country and at some point the car failed MOT . So a decision had to be made what to do with the car I opted for a total restoration and transformation to a Fiesta Turbo.Not for a big HP Zetec conversion or T3 but I opted for a T2 Hybrid turbo because the car will be mainly used in the city and country roads
