The 2.0L CR 150 engine is the successor to the CR 140 engine. Journalists seem to be having trouble recommended this over the smaller, lower priced 1.6CR options and the slightly more powerful 2.0L CR 184 engine.
Whilst the 1.6CR is a cheaper alternative it lacks the ability of this CR 150 engine, and with the higher premium on vehicles with the CR 184 powerplant why wouldn’t you own the 150.
It’s a great engine, with relatively strong performance and good economy as standard Once our stage1 calibration is in control though it’s in a completely different league to the lower power engines and is much more capable than a standard 184.
We’ve spent months testing this engine in a variation of climatic conditions around the globe making sure we have the best balance between power delivery, economy, and longevity.
Our stage1 software is designed to give you a better car, to improve your drive and exceed expectations of the standard car.
